I took these three in 1972.
Firstly, this must be the lunch break with a parade of rods. If the old grey matter is not playing up, the passenger in the lead rod is DJ Paul Burnette who was with 208 Radio Luxembourg at the time. 208 was playing quite a big role in UK drag racing at this time. If you look in the background, it appears that Dick's Place is open. Now, I can't ever remember going in to Dick's "emporium" pitside, so this must be one of the rare occasions that its doors were open.

Roland Pratt in the Transcontinental FC. By todays standards, it hardly looks like a FC.

Even in 1972, the occasional meeting was still attracting the odd oddball car, hence this circuit racing car at Blackbushe.

What a great set of pictures Jon. Period black and white always sets the tone for the seventies era on this forum particularly with the Stripteaser and Stardust wheelie shots.
