Those are great photos from Doug. Do we know which year. Obviously with all the tin foil around they were pictured at one of the Brighton Drag & Custom Shows.

Who used to ride with Blackbushe Motors on the back of their leathers. Was it John Lloyd? I think that could be Derek Penfold on his Triumph in the background!

John Hobbs at Blackbushe. Not sure of the year or the opposing rider.

I have no id for DS 39 or year other than it was taken at an NDRC meet at Snetterton.

Again no idea about the rider or the track although looking at the concrete expansion joint this could be North Weald.

I think DS39 is Alan Hughes from the North East-his brother Bob was one of the owners of the Hulk Altered.

Again, not sure on any of these riders. But judging by the background these were taken at Long Marston in the early eighties.

Whose blasting up the Brighton quarter mile...

...and whose bike is on display at Crystal Palace?

EC21 would have been Dave Madden, former Royal Navy man from Yovelton

Still sprinting a 1928 Douglas after all these years, Bernie White set the fastest time of the day at Gaydon in 1970.

After seeing a distant view of my bike pitted behind our Knight and Cross van (see page one) I'm viewing the "Sweet Dreams" part 4 in the Drag Racing videos section and there! about a third of the way through is a quick shot of my old Triumph with a yawning crew member (Gammo) sitting on it. I knew I'd find a shot of it sooner or later.

Gammo aka Paul Gammons was/is a buddy of Steve Warner (2-seat dragster fame) and an expert Ally welder who fabricated quite a few parts for me while helping out with the bike. Like Steve, he hailed from Bozeat.
