I can ID Mick Warne's 'Big Blue' and Danny Johnson's Harley but as to who owned and riden the Bennelli I haven't a clue for the moment. More will be appearing shortly. I'm sure that Clive will be along shortly to cast his expert eye over them.

Looking at the Benelli pictures, that would be Rob Janssen, from Holland.
A very different choice for power in that bike.
He also campaigned a double Norton.

Now that I have found a programme listing Keith spot on. Rob brought the Benelli to Santa Pod in 1975 (July 5th/6th) for the European Grand Prix meeting and the first 'British Funny Car Grand Prix'. The bike featured 1300cc motor and the bike was called 'Double Spaghetti'.

Here's a few more from Turbo's collection. Any ideas on the ownership of the Honda Keith? Must be another Dutch bike given the Speed 7 and Putoline stickers on the fairing! And the bike below it must be Danny Johnson's much later Harley when the American came over again in 1975!

I thought that Danny's first appearance in the UK was in 1973 with Goliath at the Petersen Publishing meets in July Phil.

No Jerry, Danny came over first with a pair of single-engined Harleys.
He had planned to bring his first double over for the meetings, but a crash put paid to that plan.
His later double, Goliath 2, came over in 1975. The chassis of that bike is now owned by Frank Spittle, who is planning to rebuild it.
