This is a great shot of Dennis Priddle at Long Marston with the Insurance in Motion fueler from the mid eighties Trans Atlantic Drag Bike meet. Notice Steve Reed running alongside. There were no rules about crew uniforms back in the day!

A few from the 1980 Summer Internationals at Santa Pod (July 5th/6th) and the debut of the new state of the art Phelps/Herridge Gladiator '80 Trans Am. I'm I right in thinking this was an ex 240 Gordie Bonin Pontiac? And whatever happened to the body or was it butchered to make way for another body in later life!

I always wondered about the history of the car, I don't think it was ever featured in any mags, the MN report says it was imported, draglist said Bootsie built it, not sure how popular they were in the USA, I can only remember Roy Harris, anyone know for sure, shame the body ended up like this, what became of the chassis
