Interesting that shot of Robbie Dobby,If I'm correct that frame and forks was built by Phil Manzanoe in '65, I remember it at Ramsgate and Duxford and worked on it when Dick Talbot raced it in NDRC meets...Phil used an all aluminum triumph 'generator' motor and was the first person to try equal length 2 into 1 header...when he fired it everybody thought it was a two stroke !.....
dont know if you seen my other post jerry but that comp bike is the one i built back up and was running at the track last weekend,by the way what class was BC ??

Ahhhh...the good old days of "Competion Motorcycle"!!!!
That's what the C in BC stood for.
The B referred to the engine capacity which in this case would have been 1000 - 1300 cc, I believe.
I seem to remember that F was 250cc - 350 cc, E was definitely 350 -500 cc, D was 500 - 750cc and C was 750 - 1000 cc.
I think A was 1300 - 1500 cc which, back in the day was about as big as anyone ran, capacity-wise.
Then folks like Ken Annesley and the Orange Crush arrived and showed the Brit bikers that "bigger was better.
So AA was invented to cover the double and triple engined Japanese powered bikes where each engine was 750 or 1000 cc.
Back then, I ran a turbo 1015 Kwaker on Alcohol.... sorry Methanol.... and that ran as BC.
