The picture of the in line Douglas could well be a sprinter by the name of Bob Hadnit ,there was an old guy that I met in 65 .Hadnits part shop was in Kettering road Northampton maybe someone else can confirm .They were all in the NSA and rubbed shoulders with the greats like Fred Cooper ,George Brown and the man on Thor F Williams.
yes they're mainly NSA Sprints Clive, some of Brian's pics have a few notes on the back including Duxford, Church Lawford, Wiscombe and Wellsbough. Do you know if bikes kept the same race numbers at NSA meets or did they change from meet to meet?
Unfortunately Nick, in the early 1960's, bikes did not keep the same race numbers from meet to meet.

Yes, "British" Bob Hadnett had his motorcycle shop at 83 Kettering Road, Northampton. As his name suggests, it only dealt with spares for British bikes. He was an NSA stalwart for many, many years.

Well there you go CRR. Yes he was a very friendly chap with a beehive of knowledge at the shop you could get oversize rollers for the clutch basket on early pre unit triumphs upto 3 thou in steps these were probably made locally at Timken bearings the Rolls Royce of internals for racing at that time . The last time I spoke to him he said "Me backs playing up so I might stop riding "

Keep riding Bob !

Thats definately Maurice - false leg and all!
When I first moved South in the early 80's the company I joined for rented a cottage for me at Whitehall
near Watton at Stone and it was Maurice's old place and still had his workshop, lathe and miller,in the garage.
Wish I'd met him but he had ridden the big Vincent in the sky by then.
Happy Days!
