The only reason being that the picture of Russ Carpenter Glacier Grenade has my mum taking me out of the cockpit as a strapping little toddler!!!! LoL

Not sure where this was taken but I seem to recall now that it might have been one of those specialist car shows from the eighties at Olympia or Earls Court. In this shotis the Wynns Oil promotional Funny Car which if I'm right was one of the old Gladiator Funny Cars. Which body I'm not sure. To the left is Andy Saunders(!) Speedboat and a huge Dalek in the background.

I think this one of Prudhomme's Army Plymouth Arrow was taken at one of the Brighton Shows too.

Cant remember what year it was, but they had a Custom Car show at Olympia, I think it was when Alley Pally burned down, the next one was held in a big marquee outside Alley Pally. (Went to them both)

The two shots of Russ' Glacier Grenade look like they're both from the Hotel Metropole in Brighton, the lights look very similar, and the woodgrain is also similar, as is the cut-away ceiling. Suggest maybe two diferent shows at the same location?
