I did like the inclusion of the American shot, which was a good wind-up.
It dates back to 1973, and unless you were standing alongside me at the time, you must have scanned that from a race report I wrote for National Drag Racer. Interesting leathers Marion Owens had on the nearside as he raced Dave Campos. Dave won with a 9.32 against a 10.55 in the first round of Fuel Bike at the 1973 Supernats.

Yes, you are correct Ian. Paul Mayhew from Redditch on his 750cc Triumph comp bike long before his Pro Stocker.
Second picture after the Krol bike is it Tojo .....John cheadle by any chance ?definately a YR5/YDS7 Crankcase with TZ top end Motor
