The old 2002/3 Wildside "Flag" chassis still exists it's currently sitting in the rafters of a welding/fabrication shop and it's FOR SALE .Got the blue bodywork and wings stored away as well. The 2005 car was updated by John Webster and the body was completely replaced,it wasn't a quick respray over the old flag colours!! Les and I ran it for that year, but I couldn't put enough time into running it - work etc.So we never did get the performance from the car that we should have done.Teach me to take my eye off the ball!!! I don't think there has ever been another car, that I'm aware of, with an all enveloping British flag design.Anybody remember our startline shirts? Cheap as chips, because it was the Queen's Golden Jubilee,everything was Union Jack themed in the shops! Darryl even had a pair of Union Jack boxers to match the car!! There's a picture of him in one of the Pod programmes wearing them, stood with the car, at the first photo shoot we did - seemed like a good idea at the time.I think it's fair to say that we did our share of flag waving for those couple of years.

Its a shame i never did get to see this car run as did look great in those colours.

I think it was a either main event or possibly dragstalgia Darryl had his union jack trainers on, luckily kept his trousers on.
