It’s extremely sad news that the UK drag racing community has lost one of it’s all time greats, Brian Johnson.

My condolences go out to Brian’s friends and family.

RIP the Wizard.

Bubblegum Nostalgia AA/FC

Soon to hit the Santa Pod Raceway 1320 is this stunning Nitro burning Nostalgia funny car of Bob Glassup.
The car appeared at the Santa Pod Raceway 2014 dragstalgia event as a roller but will be ready for strip duty this time.
The paint scene has been designed by Darren West of PRG and I must say that I personally love the clean design and colour.
Richard Walters is currently working on the body while the motor is being assembled by Dave Gibbons. I just can’t wait.

Click on the image to visit the Xtreme Wheels Racing Facebook page or keep checking the ukdrn forum Dragstalgia page HERE for news about the event.

Santa Pod Raceway Main Event IMI Student Pit Tour Guides Required.

The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) Santa Pod Day has become a regular feature at the Main Event and is very popular with schools and colleges.
It has proven to be a very successful way of drag racing linking up with the established motor industry apprenticeship schemes.
Brian Taylor has been asked by Donna at Santa Pod to get a group of IMI Student Pit Tour Guides together again ready for Friday May 22nd at the Main Event.
This is usually a joint effort between the ACAG and the BDRHoF and SPR anticipate around 700 students this year.
The base will be the Mid Track VIP Centre unless otherwise informed between now and then. We anticipate the first tours starting at 10.30 am.
Contact brian@allardchrysler.org or telephone 01395 579733 if you want to be part of the team.
