This weekend at the 20th Nostalgia Nationals will be the first public appearance at a drag strip for the fully restored Allard dragster.
I bet Sydney Allard never dreamed that 40 years after the cars construction it would return to the Long Marston venue.
Of course the amazing ACAG team led by Brian”Crazy Horse” Taylor have not only restored the car back to a stunning condition the old gal is also now set up and ready to rumble with a dose of of the hard stuff

More fantastic news ahead the 20th NSRA Nostlagia Nationals is that German racer Jürgen Schomann will be bringing his blown and wild 41 Willys altered from Germany to mix it up with the 12 Supercharged Outlaws already entered.
This 20th Anniversary event is shaping up to be a classic.

I’m very excited to confirm that Kirsten van Croonenborgh (Europe’s No 1 back up girl)
will definitely have her own stunning and retro looking 1970 Plymouth Cuda (Suzy Q) at the event.

The car has just had it’s amazing paint finished by David of Priceless Paints and really does looks the part.
It’s still unsure if it will make it’s track debut as the team are still waiting for a few things to fall in place but I’m sure no matter what it will be one of the biggest attractions at the event.

Here’s today pic. This time it’s Clive Skilton’s Vauxhall funny car looking pretty in the pits. It seems like you didn’t need a lot of tools etc to run a fuel funny car in the UK in the 1970′s.
