Europe finest weekend

Okay not nostalgia but being a drag racing nut I just have to give credit to an incredible weekend for European drag racing.

At the four wides NHRA event Sweden’s Jonny Lindberg made the final of TAFC and lost because of bad shake caused by just a few bolts.

At the same event Sweden’s Jimmy Alund WON Pro Stock making him one of only a few overseas racers to ever win a NHRA wally.

And finally Ian King won the Xoticycle/Roaring Toyz Spring Nationals (Manufacturers Cup) at SGMP in the USA.
Ian took out Larry McBride and Chris Hand on the way and in the final ran a amazing 5.878 that that also gives him the final spot in the MTC 5 Second club.

Well done guys we’re proud of you all.

New Structure For The British Drag Racing Hall of Fame

The British Drag Racing Hall of Fame (BDRHoF) has announced a new operating structure to enhance its professionalism and organisational capabilities. It is in line with increased sponsorship and the need to become more involved in events and promotional activity.

Sign this petition to Keep London Motor Museum Open

Please sign this petition, it will only take you 2 mins.

The London motor museum is in danger.
They are a registered ‘community interest company’ and have had
exemption from business rates by Hillingdon Borough Council.
Recent rates of £130k could well result in closure.
The museum is host to some 50,000 visitors per year, home
to over 200 rare and collectible cars from all over the world, is
a significant employer of Hillingdon residents and one of very
few genuine cultural attractions in the area.
Help us convince Hillingdon Borough Council that London
Motor Museum is a community enterprise that should not pay
full business rates and should remain open

Us Automotive200The good news about the British Drag Racing Hall of Fame (BDRHoF) just keeps on coming. It is the financial lubrication that enables the BDRHoF to fulfil its function of honouring those who, through personal dedication, have made a marked difference to the sport’s development over the years.
