The British Drag Racing Hall of Fame (BDRHoF) has announced a new operating structure to enhance its professionalism and organisational capabilities. It is in line with increased sponsorship and the need to become more involved in events and promotional activity.
Since its launch in 2006, the BDRHoF has evolved around a panel of selectors and this was suffice when its role was limited and its activities few. The Savill Court is an amazing Jacobean styled Manor near Windsor in Surrey and currently one of Southern England’s finest hotels with 140 rooms, beautiful grounds and full leisure club facilities. The London motor museum is in danger.
They are a registered ‘community interest company’ and have had
exemption from business rates by Hillingdon Borough Council.
Recent rates of £130k could well result in closure.
The museum is host to some 50,000 visitors per year, home
to over 200 rare and collectible cars from all over the world, is
a significant employer of Hillingdon residents and one of very
few genuine cultural attractions in the area.
Help us convince Hillingdon Borough Council that London
Motor Museum is a community enterprise that should not pay
full business rates and should remain open

The good news about the British Drag Racing Hall of Fame (BDRHoF) just keeps on coming. Bedford based American parts supplier US Automotive has announced that 2014 will see it continuing to support the BDRHoF as Primary Sponsor. Now in its ninth year, the US Automotive sponsorship joins that of Beech Underwriting, Power Race Graphics, Eurodragster.com Santa Pod Raceway, APIRA, York Raceway, PDRC, Santa Pod Racers Club and Shakespeare County Raceway. It is the financial lubrication that enables the BDRHoF to fulfil its function of honouring those who, through personal dedication, have made a marked difference to the sport’s development over the years.
